Common questions
My house is a new build, can you replace the builder’s wardrobes?
Yes, and it is one of the most common jobs here. Builder-standard is usually a single rail and one shelf in a room that could hold a great deal more. The rooms are square and the ceilings level, so a full wall goes in cleanly.
Will replacing them affect my NHBC warranty?
Fitted furniture is not usually structural, so replacing a wardrobe is not typically a warranty issue. If you are inside the warranty period, check with your provider before work starts. We would rather you asked than assumed.
My loft is trussed, can it still be boarded?
Usually yes, in the space between the trusses. It will not give you a room, but it gives you proper storage with the insulation left at full depth underneath instead of crushed.
Do you cover Brynna and Bryncae?
Yes, along with Dolau and back towards Pencoed.
