Carpentry and building, out of Pencoed
How we work
Three things we hold ourselves to
Most complaints about builders are not about the finish. They are about never getting a price, or getting one that changes once the job is open. Both of those are process problems, and process is something you can fix without being a better joiner than the next one.
You get a reply. The most common complaint about builders in this country is never hearing back at all.
You get the sizes in writing. Ranges, carcass sizes, panel layout and what is included, on paper before anything is ordered.
We say no when it is not our job. If a job needs a trade we are not, or a sign-off we cannot give, we will tell you that rather than have a go.

How the work actually runs
Every quote follows a measure-up. Alcoves are rarely square, ceilings are rarely level and floors fall away, and all three change what can be built in that space. Nothing is priced or ordered off a photograph.
Floors get sheeted before anything comes out of the van. Cuts are made outside where the weather allows. The room is left usable at the end of every day, because most of this work happens in houses people are still living in.
